Front Seat Doll

Hi, Asian Sweetheart here from the Asian Sweetheart blog. I’m a frequent reader of Left Of Me, and for a good reason. I have the same interests as this fun blog’s owner, which is beautiful Thai ladies.

This is my first guest post on Left Of Me and it’s about the very cute name of this blog. You see, we have a saying in Thai which is tukta na rot which translates to “front seat doll”. It is used by Thai boys who are jao choo (playboys) when they boast to their friends about all the different cute girls they have sitting next to them in their cars. Like, “Hey, did you see my tukta na rot tonight? Hot isn’t she.” And that’s what Left Of Me means; it’s like the English version of tukta na rot. Very cute.

Most Thai girls hate to be called tukta na rot. It makes them mad that they just get traded out for the next hottie when their jao choo boyfriend gets bored. But one girl named Pocky likes it. She was one of the finalists in the 2006 FHM Thai edition Girl Next Door contest. That’s a picture of her below.

FHM really liked her and had her do a column in the magazine called Pocky’s Club. In one of the issues she talked about how she likes being a tukta na rot. She doesn’t care if she is just being used as a decoration by Thai boys who think they are big players, because she gets to sit in the front seat of a lot of different shiny new sports cars. Pocky also gives advice on how to make out in cars in one of her columns. Seems she is pretty fun girl, the kind of girl you really want “Left Of Me”.
